Our Agency
1895
Agence Générale BOVIS is the oldest real estate agency on the French Riviera.
It was founded in 1895 by Joseph BOVIS, an architect by training, who designed most of the public monuments in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, including the church, the War Memorial, the famous Baie des Fourmis, etc. He thus made his own personal contribution to the development of the French Riviera.
1938
In 1938, his son Marcel BOVIS, also an architect, took over the family firm. Passionate about his work, he was one of the first trade unionists to defend the profession.
Alongside his real estate business, he undertook the renovation of many beautiful properties on Cap Ferrat, notably L’Eolienne and La Félicité. In Beaulieu-sur-Mer, he also designed a large number of villas, including L’Espéranza and L’Armélita.
1978
In 1978, Christian BOVIS, the grandson, took over the agency. With his background in economics, he developed a network of correspondents and distributors in Europe, America, and Canada, which has now given the Bovis Agency international renown.
2010
In 2010, Jessica BOVIS, the fourth generation, decided to take over the family agency founded by her great-grandfather. With a Master II degree in international business law, she is a lawyer and real estate agent who wants to continue assisting you with your real estate transactions, maintaining the quality and professionalism that have made the agency successful for over a century.
